Anderson Cooper

Anderson Cooper, is very professional news anchor. He comes off as very friendly and straight to the point. Trust worthy. A big thing came out not to long ago about him being gay. It does not matter if you are straight, black, white, bi or anything. He gets straight to the point and is a good person. He being gay has nothing to do with how he does on TV. Some people may agree that they do not like him; others will disagree and say they love him. A lot of people trust him he comes off as very trust worthy because the way he acts. He talks very highly and knows what he is talking about. He comes along as very real. It’s not fake when he talks, which is why I think people watch him on TV and trust him because he doesn’t come across as fake. One the news I watch it was about the government shut down, there were some things he did not agree with, and it seemed like he just spoke him mind. It was like he wasn’t reading off a monitor. I also feel like he has a lot of facts but, along with the facts he asks questions to people of what they think. For example, in the news when he was talking to Congressman Steve king he provided him with facts, and asked him questions. Along with that Anderson cooper did cut Congressmen Steve king off a couple times, but he shows how he really felt and it was like he wasn’t going to back down. You can also tell that it was like Anderson was sticking up for those who don’t want the government shut down, and how the president was a little wrong in some way. You could tell there was tension building up, but Anderson made his point and got his point across. He also had a lot of emotion in his voice, he wasn’t monotone and boring, and he is very interesting to watch. After watching this episode of the news I got to see a different perspective then what I would have gotten. I usually watch the world news or ABC news. It was nice to get a different view point on the news from someone different. I have herd of Anderson cooper before and I have seen him appear on other talk shows like David leather man and shows like that. However, it was defiantly different to get a different viewpoint and to see the news in a different perspective then what I usually do. When it comes to news shows, if I had to recommend a news show I usually go for the worldwide news just because I like to know what is going on in the whole world not just this state. I would recommend watching Anderson Cooper thought because I definitely think he speaks his mind.

Magazines In The Check Out Line!

Some people are pretty and some people are ugly, that just how it works. Some people are born naturally beautiful, but do people on the front of magazine covers actually look like that? If it was up to me I would say no, a lot of the magazine covers are photo edited. If someone is on a magazine cover and its photo edited then in my book women who aren’t on that magazine cover have nothing to be ashamed of. I mean yeah okay I wonder what I would look like on the front of that cover, we all do. However women or men who are on the front of a magazine cover are usually half naked, and are supper pretty, most guys are usually super muscular and very good looking g as well as the women on their they are usually beautiful and super skinny. The only reason the front of a magazine cover is usually someone who is half naked is because the magazine company wants it to catch your eyes to buy it. I know when I am waiting in line and I look at all the magazine covers usually the person who is half naked catches my eye, because they are very good looking. It’s your naturally reaction. It’s like when someone says don’t look nine out of ten times you are going to look anyways. In my opinion I don’t think girls who aren’t on the front of a magazine cover should let it tear them down, everyone looks different it is what makes us all Unique. But everyone is insecure in their own ways but the women on the covers whose bodies look to be so great really aren’t that great because they edit the picture so much. I have always said "don’t wish for it, work for it" so anyone can look good if they try, they just have to work at it weather it’s lose weight, clean up, get your teeth fixed anything. You can look however you want.

I do feel bad for people who are heavier because I am not that a big person so I don’t have to worry about stuff like that so it is easier said than when it actually happens. So speaking for myself seeing someone skinny on the front of a magazine cover does not bother me because I know if you edit my picture I can look just as good as the person on the front of the cover.  I would for once though like to see someone who was not air brushed on just so other people can see that we are all beautiful in our own way. Anyone can look that good with photo edit. Mila Kunis is a perfect example, she is beyong beautiful but without makeup anyone can take her spot on the front of that magazine cover. I like her and i am not bashing her but she just proves my point. This just shows how much makeup and photo edit can completely change a persons look. Like I said women who aren't on the front of a magazine cover have nothing to be ashamed of.

Reality TV Shows Influencing Us?

A lot of people watch reality TV, me included.  What exactly is it that draws us into reality TV. To me it is the drama, stupidity and dumbness of how people act.  People would not watch these shows if they were not interesting. Jersey shore for example, they do stupid stuff whether it’s going to the bar and getting completely hammered. Whether it’s seeing people get punched in the face for being too drunk or even people cheating on their boyfriends/girlfriends. They all have one thing in common. They are asking for trouble, drama and love it. People love watching other people get in to trouble. Society is definitely affected by these reality TV shows. When normal average people see stars acting like idiots and getting away with it, then average people think it is okay for them to act like that. Think about it before jersey shore no one knew about twerking. Since jersey shore everyone talks about twerking, we even have twerking on walls. What is our society coming to since reality TV? We see someone else do and like it, then all of a sudden everyone is doing it. Even Miley Cyrus twerking at the VMAS. Every action in life there is a consequence whether it is good or bad. When a TV star does something bad, and goes to jail for it they end up getting out within the next day or too. When an average person sees these stars act like this, then get away with it, we think it is okay for us to act like that. The difference is we don’t get away with it, they do. Some reality starts are portrayed as people we look up to, but should we really look up to them? ABSOLUTLY NOT! We should not look up to some of these people.
If we look up to anyone who was on reality TV, then it should be someone like Sean Lowe (right picture). He was on a reality TV show called The Bachelor. He was a complete gentlemen, was loved by millions all over the world. He was even a virgin when on the show. I am not saying we should all be virgins but we should all have a little more class for ourselves.  Just because people on reality TV shows are sleeping with tons of girls doesn’t mean we have to. The only reason these people are even famous is because they were on a TV show with a lot of drama. They sure wouldn’t have the money they have now; half of them don’t even have a brain to be in school. Take mike for example,  aka the situation he was  close to 50 years old acting like he was 24, get your act together at that point in your life you should have a good job,  possibly even married with kids. If not you are obviously doing something wrong, which if you saw the show he obviously was. He was always hooking up so multiple girls and the center of drama. A lot of this is not okay, no wonder our generation is so messed up.
